David Clark Series 3800
The Series 3800 wired De-icing System is designed to solve communication issues during de-icing operations. The system consists of noise-attenuating headsets for both bucket and cab personnel, master and remote headset stations and appropriate jumper and power cords. The Series 3800 De-icing System is designed for streamlining and enhancing the efficiency of de-icing operations through clear communication.

Improved communication between de-icing personnel results in more productive application of costly deicing fluids, and helps prevent accidental aircraft damage. Weather-tight system components are built for rugged reliability and durability. Series 3800 De-icing System headsets and components are listed below.

U3800 Master Station

The "heart" of the Series 3800 Intercom System
  • One each is required per system.
  • Accommodates two Headsets
  • Should be installed where radio transmit functionality is not required
  • Adjusts automatically for 12 or 24 VDC power source
  • Draws less than 600 milliampere current
  • Simple installation
  • Dimensions:  8-1/4" L x 5-3/4" W x 4-3/4" D.

  • Master volume control
  • Two Headset jacks with listen level controls

U3801 Remote Headset Station

Used to expand the system beyond the Master Station
  • Expands the system, usually at the end of a series of Headset Stations
  • Accommodates one Headset
  • Should be installed where radio transmit functionality is not required
  • There are no output connectors for "daisy-chaining" additional modules
  • Simple installation
  • Dimensions: 3-1/4" L x 4-3/4" W x 3" D
