Ground Support De-icing System
The Series 3800 Aircraft De-icing System is a COTS solution designed to provide communication solutions while enhancing efficiency and safety during aircraft de-icing, anti-icing and maintenance operations.
The Series 3800 system has a track record of proven performance in hundreds of military airfields and civilian airports throughout the world. The system improves communication between de-icer cab and bucket, resulting in more productive application of costly de-icing fluids and helps prevent accidental damage to aircraft during de-icing operations.
The Series 3800 system consists of noise-attenuating headsets and rugged, weather-tight intercom-only modules and power cords that provide hands-free, full-duplex intercom communication (see typical system configuration).

U3800 Master Station
- One each is required per system.
- Accommodates two Headsets
- Should be installed where radio transmit functionality is not required
- Adjusts automatically for 12 or 24 VDC power source
- Draws less than 600 milliampere current
- Simple installation

U3801 Remote Headset Station
- Expands the system, usually at the end of a series of Headset Stations
- Accommodates one Headset
- Should be installed where radio transmit functionality is not required
- There are no output connectors for "daisy-chaining" additional modules
- Simple installation

C3820 Power Cord
- 20' length of two-conductor shielded cable
- Two-socket MS connector on one end
- Stripped and tinned leads on other end

C38-XX Jumper Cord
- 4-conductor shielded cable with 4-pin MS connectors on each end
- Number after dash in model number indicates length in feet
- C3402 (2 ft.) and C3408 (8 ft.) jumper cords also available
